The problem
Point-of-sale backups arrived by WhatsApp and were received by hand.
How it works
- Store technicians upload .dat / .bak files (or ZIP/RAR) to a Next.js web app; files can also be submitted programmatically over HTTP.
- That triggers an n8n workflow of about 60 nodes that validates POS transaction files line by line.
- A custom LLM model on Ollama audits them for implausible prices, fake product names and inconsistent dates and times, and returns a JSON verdict.
- SQL Server .bak backups are restored in Docker to check their tables.
- Each step writes status and logs to PostgreSQL, feeding a live IT dashboard with KPIs, charts and filters.
