About
Juan Manuel de Villeros Arias · in IT since 1988.

Bio
It all started on a Tandy Color Computer, writing a starfield flight simulator in BASIC, until Elite II appeared and I played it instead.
My IT career began in 1988 with inventory systems and Xenix utilities, followed by more than two decades in IT infrastructure: Unix and Linux systems, databases and networks. I retired in 2014, and in 2022 machine learning and AI brought me back.
Now I spend my retirement playing and creating games and building with ML and AI: Python data tools for water and sewer engineering, Android games with Flutter + Flame, open-source methods and AI agent skills, all running on Google Cloud and my own Linux servers. I have used Linux since the Slackware days and design AI-assisted workflows with human approval for anything public or irreversible.
